Now I’m sitting in the shower singing my songs like a coward,
I’m watching you bend just like a flower.
I am hoping and praying that time will get slower but it just keeps leaping forward,

I admire each shadow your fragile figure casts and I need you in my hands,
But you slip through like sand.
